I just listened to the new album by Amen Dunes for the first time...love it.
It's definitely worth having a dedicated thread.

    Love them!

Just got the new one, haven't spun it yet, but Through Donkey Jaw has been on heavy rotation for me for a good while now.
The next-most recent LP, however, Spoiler, is willfully difficult. Haven't been able to get my ears around it successfully yet.

I am not aiming to threadcrap, but a thread really deserves a little more by way of title (imagine dozens of threads that say ===THE BEATLES===), not to mention a little more of a case than "here's this awesome album."

I don't understand what the problem is. There was no thread about Amen Dunes on the forum. We can discuss his music here.
And by the way...you could have chosen to listen to the tracks I posted and share your thoughts here. Instead you decided to be negative.

dig it never heard of them before thanks for posting. I dig the moody atmosphere of The music. I will definitely try to check out more of stuff. I also like the sound of the guys voice. The sound of someone's voice can make or break me liking something or not even if the music is fantastic. If the singers voice is annoying I just can't listen to it.

Chris Farley: [ uncomfortable ] You.. you.. you remember when you were with The Beatles?

    Paul McCartney: Yeah, sure.

    Chris Farley: That was awesome!

    Paul McCartney: Yeah, it was.

I was just trying to point out that specificity in a thread title is not only preferred, but helpful (to readers AND to you later on--for example, if you ever want to add a different Amen Dunes thread). My intention was not to be negative. The dearth of responses to this thread thus far may serve as an indicator that vague thread titles are not productive.
