It at least has the chance of being good.

Shane's on a real roll and I like some of the stuff that Fred Dekker has done but Shane has also had his weak ones as well. Shane appears in the original Predator and did n credited rewriting on the script as well.

Be curious as to what they do with it. The original film is quite good for what it sets out to do and accomplishes.

Very soon the reboots are going to get released alongside the originals.

Predator doesn't even look dated. You could release it today and it could stand shoulder to shoulder with any good action film.

    Not a sequel then ?
I suppose the cast will be
    The Rock or Mark Walberg.
    Not keen on either.
    Suggestions?

    Yeah ! He's got gravitas!
    Not Hollywood enough though.
Van Diesel would be good box office.
    Liam Neeson would be ideal.
    Awesome in The Grey

Actually - the proof of Hollywood's desperation is the talk of a War Games reboot. Really? I do admit, I liked that movie and it's hard to imagine that computers like that were considered awesome. I think my Iphone is more powerful than the WOPR system.

We are not criticizing a movie that hasn't been released yet. We are criticizing Hollywood's complete absence of new and original ideas.
