Love those Hawkwind fold-outs. I definitely remember those being total OMFG moments, the first time I saw them, at the house of somebody older than me who had a bunch of them.

It may not be graphically exciting but that stark white interior made it the best gatefold for certain "cleaning tasks";) From what I've been told.

I had that set up behind a fish tank through my college years, looked pretty cool to me.

I thought they, along with other top rock acts of the day were using the Nady Wireless system at that point?

Always loved Jethro Tull "This Was." Dig those amps. Those particular WEM amps always looked very "futuristic" to me, in that kinda dated Clockwork Orange or 2001, late Sixties type of way.

It really is real. I saw Kiss on that tour. They had the levitating stages. The stair cases on either side of the drum riser. Btw...each stair lit up as a band member stepped on it. There really was all that fire but not so much all at once as the picture shows. And there was Ace's smoking guitar. And Gene blowing a huge flame out if his mouth and...just the light show portion was way cooler than the picture could possibly show. As f'n awesome as that picture is....there's just know way for it to do justice to the real deal. That's the only time I've ever seen Kiss. That's how I want to remember them.

You still have to plug the guitar into the wireless transmitter.

Of course, but I still think they were using them at this point. No way they could do that stage show without them. Hi-Z cable does not like 200' runs.
