The original Deluxe Edition of Positive Vibrations by Ten Years After with 2 extra tracks was released at the end of last year and then pulled and reissued this year minus 2 tracks.

I have a CD in a sealed longbox (with the "Cop Killer" cover art).

Yes, bought simply for the "archives" when we were told to return them to WEA

John Frusciante-Smile From the Streets You Hold

Came out in August 97, apparently in an effort to raise money for drugs (Frusciante had left the RHCP in 92, and had become addicted to heroin). He got clean after this album's release, and was asked to rejoin the RHCP. He withdrew the album from stores shortly after, and it has never been rereleased.

Not so, immediately withdrawn, but since the album was so obscure, and demand for it only really grew when he rejoined the RHCP, it probably never sold that many copies to begin with.

It's not a great album (his first, "Niadra Lades" is better), but I like it.

Teenage Fanclub's The King album was released and then deleted the very next day. Pretty sure it was intentional, but I don't remember the idea behind why they did that.

Anyway, I have the CD and the LP of that one.

Back in 1986, I got Geffen's vinyl version of XTC's "Skylarking" without "Dear God" on it. If I'm not mistaken, it was re-released shortly afterwards with "Dear God" and "Mermaid Smiled" removed.

I didn't know that was withdrawn; I thought they just made 5000 copies by mistake. (I have one too, BTW.)

Got those along with Ice T's followup on Warner Bros (?) before they dropped him. They sent out a cassette single of one song (Gotta Lotta Love, I think) before they dropped him over the whole Cop Killer controversy.

I had vinyl of both versions, which I believe I turned over to my board colleague Ginchopolis, as he's the biggest XTC fan of all time....

I only have an "unofficial" copy of this one:

The Jams (aka The KLF)-1987 (What The **** Is Going On).

Pulled quickly due to uncleared samples. Most copies were destroyed.
