    Did a search and nada.
    I would have to say
"The Hissing On Summer Lawns " has to be up there, at least my choice( today).
    Yours?

I like Hejira and Hissing. Hard to choose between them.

Court & Spark, for mind, is her best. But I listen to Mingus more.

'Blue' is the best, but 'For The Roses' is my personal favourite.

critically it would probably be 'court and spark'.

in my opinion it would probably be 'court and spark'.

    however:

my best, against the feeling of most, i find the back-to-back "dog eat dog' and 'chalk mark in a rain storm' to be just wonderful to listen to and to follow along with those incredible lyrics. probably the best double album never released as a double album.

    'Blue' No contest.

    From 'Court And Spark'

Plus the debut, which has an eerie atmosphere she never got back to.

"Blue" - not only her best, but amongst the best of anyone, IMHO

Blue, which I think hangs together the best. But Court and Spark is a close second.

I discovered her music only in the mid 1980s so for me it`s all about her later albums:

    1. Chalk Mark in a Rainstorm
    2. Night Ride Home
    3. Dog Eat Dog

Mmmmm.... Blue or Hejira. Though there is much to love in almost all of her releases, even the later stuff...
