I assume that they will reveal what happened to the bodies eventually.

I hardly laughed at all during the first episode, but the second was pretty funny. I may continue to watch.

we found to be very unfunny.......turned it off about 5 minutes into the second half-hour.

i guess, after reading so much abou it, we were expecting too much.

It's a sitcom, I doubt they'll bring up the missing dead.

I set the DVR for the show, but didn't think it was that funny. Since it's being recorded, Ill probably watch a few more episodes, if it lasts.

I enjoyed the second episode more than the first. I'm still on the fence about continuing to watch it.

I liked the second episode much better with the woman involved.

She adds a lot more to the show than just him drinking.

I'll give it some more viewing.

They are going to have to find other people at some point. I can't imagine doing an entire series of just the two of them.

I watched that and thought "that's disgusting!". He doesn't have water in the house so he must not be bathing, so he's getting in a pool and drinking the margarita-water!

I thought the opening 20 minutes or so (when it was just him) was hilarious, but after that I started losing interest.

I like quirky, so I like this one. I'm looking forward to seeing where they take things. The argument about the stop signs, and where to park, I was cracking up, that's totally my style.

I watched because of the rave reviews, and although I thought it was good, it wasn't that good. But I will definitely keep watching.

So, is this based on stoner humor? I looks totally unappealing to me.

Just watched the first two episodes. Liked the first, loved the second. Thought both Forte and Schaal were really good and had great chemistry

I would say it's more "slacker humor" than anything else.

Although I have a feeling it might be funnier after a few bong hits.

I have a feeling that this show may fail in the ratings...but it has the potential to generate its own cult of fans if it lasts less than a full season.

    A future forgotten classic?

Totally bad,why can't they make more half hour shows about a family going thru mundane life situations with a laugh track in the background,or a police procedural show, now thats Television!

"On a busy Sunday that marked the beginning of the networks’ spring lineup rollouts, Fox had the best news as its hourlong premiere of comedy “Last Man on Earth” stood as the night’s top-rated broadcast in young adults. ABC did decently with its two-hour launch of “Secrets and Lies,” but it was a sluggish start for CBS’ “Battle Creek.

It’s been a mostly tough year for new comedies, but Fox’s “Last Man on Earth” impressed on Sunday (2.3 rating/6 share in adults 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall), building by 28% in the demo from its “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” lead-in (1.8/5 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall) and putting Fox ahead of its rivals on the night.

The post-apocalyptic comedy starring Will Forte edged out ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” as the night’s top Big Four series in 18-49, 18-34 (1.8/6) and all key male demos. And viewers liked what they saw, as the 9:30 p.m. half-hour did the same rating as the 9 o’clock half-hour.

Among Fox comedy premieres, “Last Man” more than doubled “Mulaney” from last fall (1.0) and it’s the best 18-49 score since “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” in September 2013, and the best in men 18-49 (2.8/8) since “New Girl” in September 2011. Roughly 61% of the 18-49 audience for “Last Man” last night was male.

Among the 13 comedy premieres this season, “Last Man” ties with NBC’s “Marry Me” as the fourth biggest in 18-49 — behind ABC’s “Black-ish” (3.3), CBS’ “The Odd Couple” (3.1) and ABC’s “Fresh Off the Boat” (2.5)."
