    Thanks everyone! I'm really happy with how it turned out! Just need to move some more vinyl out there now.

    @Ron P. - yes. That's where I got the EPOS from and they're doing an exchange for me. The Dentons will arrive tomorrow! Amazing customer care over there.

    Very nice equipment. :righton: I have a couple questions. Did you mount custom feet on those units, or are they all stock? Also, what exactly is the unit on the top left? It appears to be an SVHS/stereo receiver hybrid? I'd like to pick up an SVHS player myself, I always have my eyes open for them at thrift shops and the like, but they're tough to come by. I've got so many classic VHS tapes, many of which are foreign and cult films which have never made it to DVD or Blu. I've experimented with several VHS players for PQ with an HDTV, and I've got one that looks decent, but I really want SVHS quality.

    I like the set up. Clean, bright, minimal...but my only questions is; which magazine did you get these shots from? :)

    some feet are stock, some were added by me. for example, the JVC HR-S8000U VCR's are aluminum, die-cast metal-filled isolators taken from a 1987 DENON DCD-1500II CDP.
    the PIONEER PL-112D turntable's isolators are rubber filled, taken from a 1998 PIONEER DV-09 DVDP, and the PIONEER CLD-3030 Laserdisc players' isolators
    are from a couple of late-80's/early-90's PIONEER AVRs.

    that's the MITSUBISHI HS-U80, 1988's top model S-VHS editing VCR. it is functionally identical to MITSUBISHI's first industrial deck, the BV-1000;

    decks like the U80 will definitely afford you above average recording and playback quality, at least so far as VHS goes;

    ((an S-VHS recording from DVD. Japanese Animation DVDs most often are not MACROVISIONed))

    (( plain vanilla VHS playback ))

    Yeah. Detached, 1 car garage. The interior dimension are 11' x 19' and the ceilings are 12' at the peak.

    As soon as we do some cleanup out there I'll take some pics. Still looks like a construction zone, and theres a bit of trim that needs painting...
