Fingers crossed this is what we've been waiting for....

Spotted on Amazon.fr with a 25 September 2015 release. No track list at present but looks like the studio albums from Space Oddity to Pinups, plus Santa Monica and the Rise & Fall Of Ziggy Stardust soundtrack, plus what looks like 2 bonus discs - one with a Ziggy Stardust cover (maybe the bonus disc from the 2Cd version?) and another mystery disc.

Veeery interesting ... fingers crossed on the SOUND of these things. It would take something out of this world to make me part with my Ryko Golden Years box!

Well spotted. The bonus disc seems to be called Re-Call1.

I'm excited. The mastering on Nothing Has Changed was not the worst I've heard, and the recent Ziggy and Aladdin Sane reissues were pretty good.
And with the prospect of a vinyl release, it'd be awesome if there was a digital download on HDTracks etc..

I imagine we may have to wait for the actual news to leak but start the speculation....

I'll qualify that with, in the UK at least. Parlophone is part of Warner in the UK

You're right. Ziggy & Aladdin Sane 40th anniversary releases sound very good. Hope they'll do the same for all the box set.

Hopefully, this bodes well for a comprehensive Berlin-era box next year.

A minor quibble. Shouldn't Diamond Dogs be a part of this set? Technically, it falls within " five years"--as that phrase is understood (1969-74); also, I see that album as being more a part of that era, than the next one which begins with Young Americans.

Nah, Pinups is the end of the first era, because he jettisoned Ronno after that.

    Well it says it's covering 1969 to 1973. Which is technically five years, though confusing - 69, 79, 71, 72, 73.

If he continues, then the next would presumably by 74 to 78. Which would mess up the Berlin trilogy!

Nah. The next one will be David Live through Scary Monsters, probably.

I have all this. But for those that still do not have Bowie's classic stuff in their collections... it must be exciting.

I'd settle for vinyl copies of "Hunky Dory" and "Aladdin Sane" on the off chance these are made available individually.
