    Most likely it's:

U2 - All That You Can't Leave Behind

It's the only LP I have that sells for > $100

...that I know of, at least.

Based on Discogs, the highest thing on my list is Brawlers, Bawlers and Bastards by Tom Waits that has sold for up to $508 - that is a 7 LP set. Second on my list is a bit of a shock; it's the Classic Records version of the Almost Famous soundtrack. According to Discogs, it has sold for $465. Cripes.

For some reason, CD's of Eric Anderesen's 'Bout Changes 'n Things Take 2 trade for big bucks.

    http://www.amazon.com/Bout-Changes-...14&sr=1-3&keywords=eric+andersen+bout+changes

There are two copies on Amazon now for $399 each, but a couple months ago there was just one priced at over two thousand bucks. Whether anyone ever pays such prices is another issue.

I periodically see 3-figure prices for CD's that are in my collection... it's hard to fathom.

Oh yeah I have this one. I think it's a really good sounding pressing. I paid $15 about 10 years ago lol

I still have a sealed OG copy of this :

But it's difficult to find other sealed copies that have sold so it's a bit of a mystery as to value.

I have no idea, but it is an interesting question. I'll have to do some research.

For me it is a sealed Abbey Road from 20 years ago. Not worth much according to completed auctions I see, but maybe someday...

Not an LP ... an EP. 7-inch, clear vinyl, 11 songs per side. I paid 99 cents. I've seen it go for $650.

    Last Sold: 27 Jul 15
    Lowest: $1.00
    Median: $9.00
    Highest: $15.00

I thought the seller on collectorsfrenzy was dreaming.

I'd sell mine for less than $2749.00 USD but not $15.00. (The vinyl on mine is shiny too. :))

(This is beside the point, but IIRC the list price was $3.98 when I bought it new for $2.98.)

For me, probably either a copy of The Who's 1966 'Instant Party' Holland only lp release on the Brunswick label (vinyl near mint) or a bootleg lp of The Who's Fillmore East '68 soundboard recording, pressed on splash wax vinyl (near mint) on the K&S label. I have some Who eps that are more valuable than these lps.

I bought an original vinyl copy of Rush's Vapor Trails at a record show for $25. A year later I sold it on ebay for over $330.
