What is your favorite soundtrack album?

    For me it's Into the Wild. Honorable mention to John Williams The Fury simply for the title track. It's so ominous and powerful.

    For traditional "soundtrack" music (ie instrumental film scores), I would probably say the 1968 "Planet of the Apes" soundtrack (Although "Conquest/POTA" is close)...

    "Great Balls of Fire" (1989) is very good and probably the best thing to come out of that whole movie...

    "A Hard Days Night" and "Help!" are very good too...

    Seriously? Nobody is going to list Labyrinth?

    Yeah, I know it's half vocal and half instrumental, but it's a great mix of those two and Bowie is in great form vocally.
