Best new show. Great soundtrack. Damn funny. As good as the movies. Bruce Campbell will pick up the first leg of the EGOT.

The first two episodes were a lot of fun to watch. I understand the show has already been renewed for a 2nd season.

Still have Ep 2 to watch but the first was great...Bruce rools, great humor all thru the show and awesome cheapie effects. I can't see it being a show that goes more than a few seasons before getting stale but for the time being I'll be watching and enjoying.

Really loved the 1st episode. 2nd episode wasn't as good to me as the first. Hoping the 3rd episode is better tonight.

Stooges on the soundtrack, very appropriate. The first episode was a hoot. The subsequent episodes were also a hoot but not as much of a hoot.

Just curious, why don't they produce another movie with Ash as the lead character? :shh:

    I'm really enjoying it.

Music adds a lot to the show.

Loving the show. It really is helping flesh out the Evil Dead universe. They did an excellent job with casting as well.

I've been waiting years for a followup to Army of Darkness. Hope this show is even 1/2 as good.

Hearing about this gives me hope that Don Coscarelli still might get his Bubba-Hotep sequel made someday afterall (even without Bruce).

I've watched the first seven episodes (On Dish's Starz On Demand) and loving it. This is probably the best
of the "Evil Dead" universe, and everything is first rate, and Bruce is in top form. Hilarious. Over the top
gore, but as in Evil Dead 2, it's so over the top it's sensational to watch. And I've got to say, Sam Raimi's
wife, Lucy Lawless, still looks amazing in this. Hot lady......

I would say it is more ED2 than AOD.

Wow, I didn't know they were married. Lucky guy.

Yeah, I agree as far as the story goes, but it is a followup to the last movie (the original ending anyways, with Bruce back working at the S-mart, as opposed the alernate ending, with Bruce oversleeping and waking up a couple thousand years too late). Wonder why they changed the store name for the TV series. S-mart was a funny takeoff on K-mart but I can't even remember what the new one is called.

I don't think they can use anything from AOD due to copyright

Unfortunately, I was mistaken. After checking, she and he were never married. And she's married to
someone else. I have no idea where I got the idea they were married, just that I've thought I heard
it years ago However, she IS married to Robert Tapert, who was executive producer
    of Xena.........

So they can't use the Klaatu Verada Ni...Ni...Ni..etc (Nickto) joke? I loved that reference in AOD.

I thought the series was pretty good in general & the season finale was great.

I haven't watched 'em all yet - so is Episode 10 the finale?

    Cheers.
