Japanese horror is horrible, not scary.
Though liked the idea of The Ring.

I want to see all of those. I did see Drag me to Hell and liked it a lot, especially "here kitty, kitty.... here kitty..."

I watched the British film "Kill List" today. Understood about 20 percent of the dialog. I don't know if I'm going deaf or what, but it was indecipherable much of the time. Otherwise, it didn't really work for me. I don't know. The surprise ending was just sort of cheap. It was like David Lynch meets Wickerman, but something didn't gel. Way too much domestic stuff. Actually the fighting in the beginning between husband and wife was nice. Captured "bad family" quite well. Then it dragged on and got kind of flaky. I think it waited too long to make a turn toward the horror side of things and the naked processions and such were very, very cliche. And cliche in a bad way aka cheap horror movie staple. The general pacing of the movie had that irritating modern drifting feeling when a little plot gets interwined with tedious "naturalistic" talk. So it;s a constant action - lull -- action -- lull - action -- lull procession that just has no build or momentum.

I was goofing around and finally shot my version of a horror film. This is what happens when I film smoke hanging in my room. Nobody ever watches things, so I'll post.
