Saving Private Ryan, For, IMO, the single most beautiful, sad, and respectful musical creation of the last quarter-century: HYMN TO THE FALLEN. The balance of the sdtk is excellent to my ears, also.


Elizabethtown. There are (2) Equally fine sdtk cd's, for sheer joyful listening.

Remember seeing this December 1978 at the Utrect theatre in Brooklyn NY. I remember waiting in the theatre with much anticipation with the crowd for the movie to start. When it did along with the theme the credits were like they were coming out of the screen.
This movie was not 3D but that opening sequence with those blue credits coming out at you and the superman theme playing stuck with me for the last almost 40 years.
