    My favorite would have to be Purple Rain (1984), though I really think of it as more of just a "legendary stand-alone record" than a soundtrack (I rarely watch the film). Yet I do love Under The Cherry Moon. Go figure. :)

    My favorite album side on a soundtrack will always be side one of the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack. Talk about a successful album side!

    If I bought that lp, my wife would never allow the cover to be face up. She walked out during the scene and it took me five minutes to coax her back in the room, where she sat peeping through a hole in her hands over her eyes.

    one of the most nerve-racking and brilliant scenes ever conceived. I'm generally not a fan of remakes, but Friedkin did amazing work on it.
