I enjoyed River as well. I also watched the Amazon series Hand of God. It was bad. Putrid bad. There was so much promise, I thought it would keep improving. It didn't. I felt sleazy after watching it.
I've watched Days of Our Lives more off than on since 1993. I started watching again in Feb 2015, surprised the show had improved since I left it in Sept 2012, then it got even better in August when the new writers started. Just wrapped up a huge storyline, coordinated with the 50th anniversay of the show.
Finished Boardwalk Empire. A classic no doubt about it. Just started the complete Sons Of Anarchy. Question: Does this series get any better?
Yes then no, then yes, then finally no. Overall I enjoyed the series and when it was good it was really good. But it did have moments where it wasn't so good.
Recently finished “Bloodline”, season two, and just today I saw the last episode of “Penny Dreadful”, season three.
Been watching Animal Kingdom...Man, this show kind of creeps me out, but I keep coming back for more! The Last Ship....I've been watching since the beginning and I dig it. I always DVR Shark Tank & Beyond The Tank..It's another show I love.
The season closer seemed more like Straw Dogs or a Tarantino movie than a 1950s British bank robbery. Didn't understand why the chief's daughter left home at the conclusion.
Im on season 3 at the moment. I have to agree, at times SOA has been fantastic, at other times it seems like 5 episodes pass with nothing really happening. Ive seen a few spoilers about whats coming up in the later series so Im kinda like 'Do I really want to bother with the rest of this?'
