It seems like a few others should have been double-LPs in addition to the ones indicated.

Interested to hear about the source material used, but can't help but wonder if you were trying to "ensure exceptional audio quality" why you wouldn't do a 2LP for Ten Summoner's Tales vs. 24+ mins for both sides on a single LP.

No "Everybody Laughed but You", on the Japanese release of Ten Summoner's Tales?

For anyone interested, according to Super Deluxe Edition these are not remastered:

In terms of packaging, all of the included LPs will appear in ‘exact replicas’ of the original artwork and are presented in a ‘drawer’-style slipcase package. The records are 180g vinyl pressings, with brand new vinyl masters cut at Abbey Road Studios. It should be noted however, that none of the albums have been remastered.

I never owned this album -- is that a Japanese bonus track? These Universal box sets are pretty strict about keeping to the regular UK track listing.

It wasn't a bonus track as it's on every version of the album apart from North America for some strange reason.

Too bad he left off the live album "Bring on the Night." One of the very best live albums out there.

    Should've been a triple album.

So exact replica's, not-remastered...does that mean that the "Turtles"and "Nothing Like The Sun" LPs aren't different from the original vinyl albums? I'll watch this thread for the first review and might dive in for "Soul Cages"...

Not the same as originals...not remastered, but "brand new vinyl masters cut at Abbey Road Studios"

It does not say who did the mastering. They fail to say if direct from analogue for the earlier albums. Brand new Day is welcome on vinyl at last and even Sacred Love may be worth a listen on this format. Problem is have the rest as originals so these vinyl cuts will need to be done well to be worth considering.

From what i've read, (Michael Fremer's website) Abbey Road can only cut new lacquers from digital files, so these won't be cut from tape (for those albums were it originally existed)

There's the thing; my setup is not too critical and my ears are almost 52 years; I don't think I'll hear the difference between the 'new Abbey Road Cut'' and a nice original anyway.

Not true. He is talking of the half speed process but for that they could use tape except Miles Showell prefers to use digital to preserve bass extension and easy de SS ing . They can cut AAA at normal speed as per The Beatles In Mono and Nick Drake titles. Which process they used for these is not stated.

Am I correct in assuming that Mercury Falling is hard to find and that Brand New Day and Sacred Love were never pressed to vinyl?
