I know I'm a few months early with this topic, but I found this terrible Kenny Rogers album cover for "Christmas From The Heart" and I was so appalled by the thing that I had to share...

Hideous! Between the CGI background and the ugly snow globe... Yech! Plus the colors clash pretty badly.

What are the worst / ugliest Christmas album covers that you've ever seen? They can be original releases, re-releases, or whatever.

In the realm of Xmas cover art, that's not that bad. To be honest, there are not too many good ones just because the trademark look of the holiday is a cheese fest. Colors of red and green, bright lights, wrapping paper, fireplaces and Santa himself don't help matters.

When it comes to Christmas, the gaudier the better in my opinon. I like my Christmas trees with old, goofy vintage ornaments, the gaudiest garland and tinsel, and red and green lights.

This cover for Stevie Wonder's Someday At Christmas:

It looks like someone locked poor Stevie out of the house in the dead of winter and told him there was a crowd of people he had to perform for!

Also it looks like Stevie might've been hitting the Christmas cookies pretty hard, there- he's a little pudgy...

A lot of Elvis' Xmas LP jackets are pretty cheesy, but this one's probably the weirdest...
a huge glowing, floating Elvis head leering over the snowbound village:

That is hideous! "Hi, I'm Giant Elvis Head, and I'll watch over your church to keep you all safe".

With goofy grins on their faces and their eyes at half-mast, it looks the The Grasshoppers hopped a little too much grass:

I don't have it any more. If I recall correctly it was a rather generic sounding surf/go-go affair. Kind of like Singapore's Travellers or The Stylers.

Ah. I was thinking it would be Ventures-type Xmas tunes.
