    The current Target ad

    The current Pet Smart ad

The music in both of these commercials is annoying and really bad. Instant channel.change when either of these come on.

The Toyota commercial with "You Don't Own Me" is in heavy rotation. What's the message? "Don't buy a Toyota"?

The Flonase commercial where they inform you (twice) that 'six is greater than one'.

And the Lincoln commercial where the guy falls backwards into the pool.

I just saw the commercial before I left for dinner and it is horrible. The singing is just terrible in that.

The Jeep commercial with Cat Stevens' "If You Want To Sing Out" - I couldn't care less about the Jeeps, but I enjoy hearing that song again.

Perfume commercials can be counted on for some eye candy, and often some good music too.

The woods where I live now looks like a dump. There are many farmers here and some of them remind me of those inbred people in the movie "Deliverance". It looks like the chainsaw massacre wherever they park the tractor and there are trees. And they are obviously proud of the job they've done, it looks pretty to them. :yikes:

No word on if he's now working on a pair of pants that look great unzipped.

These new commercials for automated driving features that seem to imply humans have lost their ability to drive a car.

Sad thing is, I'm not sure they're wrong.

That pro-biotics for kids commercial where it says something like "sometimes all they need is a little push" as it shows them trying to take a dump. How adorable. Also any commercial where a kid makes a disgusting mess and mom just smiles because she has new improved Napalmolive cleaner or some new paper towel.

    Spectrum Commercials.

There is a veritable 'blitzkrieg' campaign with these commercials.

So - Crime...ah...Time Warner Cable is now Wreck...ah...Spectrum.

So what? The commercials are not selling anything - just stating a takeover that consumers have to bend over and take it.

Contrary to the rosey claims of dedicated service, unequalled picture quality, promises and more promises, the service still sucks, constant interruptions of service, and the picture quality still sucks.

    The following National Car commercial:

Briefly flashed across the bottom, it has the tagline "This is fake. Do not attempt a self-appendectomy. Please."

I am so thankful for this disclaimer. I thought it was real, and I was thinking that the next time I have an episode of abdominal pain, that begins at the umbilicus but migrates to the lower right quadrant (of the abdomen), coupled with nausea, low fever and an elevated white count (I assume it is okay to perform a CBC [= complete blood count] at home and check one's white count??), I was thinking of performing a self-appendectomy. After all, everything one would possibly need to know is clearly illustrated in this TV commercial, which in my world (and Chauncey Gardiner's), is all I need to know.

But I was wonderin' . . . should I install a mirror over my bed to aid in visualizing the surgery? Just think, once I get over the surgery, I can then drive my car on top of a train, as in the following commercial (but note, this is fantasy. Do not attempt.):

14 Rogue jumps on Train ยป

What kind of ***** would attempt to drive his car on a train (esp. after a self-appendectomy)? So it is the fear of litigation that "forces" advertisers to CTA in commercials like this? Obviously, this is gone way tooooooooo far.
    :doh::doh::doh:

    A couple of suggestions:
    1) No more idiotic taglines on commercials.
    2) If some ***** injuries or kills themselves, file under Darwin awards.
    3) Also file under crankshaft torquing.

Sonic Fast Food with those two mental defectives stream of consensus blab and now Burger King is duplicating them with goofs in paper crowns.

Wow... I got one of those paper crowns on my 5th birthday.

I mean, they look stupid with the crowns on but at least they don't seem to be acting too stupid or annoying (yet, anyway).

Those Sonic commercials are a shame, 'cause in other settings Peter Gross is capable of being pretty funny.

The current Ancestry .com commercials where the woman says "I thought I married an Italian".

    The whole ad bothers me.
