Is the Alice Cooper a KG cut as well?

I'd guess the Alice is the old Chris Bellman cut.

I want the FasterPussycat, Faces and Stooges.

It's really cool they did a title like Faster Pussycat instead of always the same titles.

@Jack can you take a look at your Alice Cooper and tell us whose initials are in the dead wax please?

Don't worry, the Rocktober EU edition is UK-tuned :D. Just "faces." on the cover. Luckily, it's also the Kevin Gray cut.

I'm amazed they did different covers for the US and EU.

What I really want to know is: How does this sound? I've never found a clean original and I don't think it sounds fabulous in any case anyway (I've only heard US versions and the UK Edsel reissue, which was atrociously bad). Is this an improvement?

The Faces box set they released a couple of years ago sounds incredible. It's all analog from the master tapes....I'm sure this release is the same mastering just pressed on colored vinyl. In other words....it's as good as this title is going to sound IMO.

Thanks! I saw one of these yesterday, I will try and get back there to snag it. Never picked up the box as I have nice copies of the other albums, and have always thought the original US copies of those sound nice.

It is the same mastering indeed. And maybe my favorite from the box set. The Kevin Gray master really makes this album more enjoyable!

The Alice Cooper was not. Last I checked a few weeks ago anyways. From what I read, are mostly for in store sales. I guess Bull Moose is selling them online now. I bought BDB and it came with a Rocktober can wrap to keep the can cool longer. Just spun the vinyl. My Technics SL-D1 with a AT 44mLa had some sibilance in some parts. I switched to my Pro-ject TT with Ortofon 2M Bronze and no sibilance. My opinion is its real close to the original USA pressing. A touch more bass. CB in dead-wax. Pressed at RTI. Not sure if it matches the CB from 2010 on Rhino. Dont have that one. Got mine for 28 including shipping. Took me awhile to find someone who sold it online.

That's a beauty! If I didn't have the boxed set I'd have gotten that as well as the AC.

Not that I'm a huge, huge fan of colored vinyl (nice to look at, but usually horrible to listen to), but that Cooper LP is the bomb!
