Maybe, Pegi got it in the divorce?

I also heard she may have received Neil's ranch as well, but not sure.

I thought they were being absorbed by 7 Digital. I see a lot of his stuff there as well

It's all up on Apple Music too. Wasn't there earlier this week because I went looking for some to play.

In the end, money sounds better than any format, digital or analog.

  11. So Pono is no mo?

  12. yes, it couldn't have been a flawed business model and poor execution. It must have been all those nasty emails.

    That's a shame, if true.

I don't care much for the device itself - I mean the store. Always good to have competition with sites like HDTracks.

What about the Pono device? Is it still being manufactured? I see it at amazon, but is it a case of once they are gone, they're gone?

I was saying to myself over the past few days man this is taking a long time. Seeing some of the Pono exclusive albums on HDTracks appears as a bit of a troubling sign. On another level though, perhaps this transition took so much longer than expected and they were simply losing too much revenue on those titles much less the others, so at least get that revenue stream going again.

My only other thought is perhaps they will transition to a player manufacturer only and abandon the music sales, but that doesn’t sound like a sure thing either. It is a great little player, so hopefully Ayre finds a home for it in their world if the worst happens.

Probably Warner and Neil have a better deal with HD Tracks now (and Spotify as well). And cd lovers are going to have their remasters too.
