While waiting in line I saw a guy go by with a Patty Smith Horses shirt. I was wondering if it was Landhorses. The line started moving right when I was trying to type on my phone.

    No.......I was wearing a Gordon Lightfoot t-shirt.

I got a lot of odd looks.

I've been exploring her back catalog. I think my favorites are "To Bring You My Love" and "Dry." It so nice listening to challenging music that exudes raw emotion rather than the slick, hyper-polished "radio friendly" crap.

Her commitment to her material is one of the reasons she is at the tip-top of my favorites list.

Plus this other guy was walking towards the end of the line just before the they started letting us in. I imagine you were at the front of the line?

For those who like her here is a show professionnaly filmed and broadcasted in Lyon, France. I must say I'm not fond of her last works and prefer the punky attitude when she began (the crap, I guess)remembering a good live show in Bourges, France at the "To Bring You My Love" tour.

It may last two days streaming so don't wait too long. don't know if everyone will be able to watch it though.

She still has a good voice. But well all these instruments and so poor harmonies... But, look, just trying to be friendly.

This is a brand new place that's opening in March. Capacity supposedly 1,800. I'll hopefully go.

Posted in another thread that it looks like the presale tickets for the Greek sold out rapidly.

Yes, that upset me too! I'm in DC. But I bought tickets to the Brooklyn show. I read in the New York Times about the brand new venue. That sounds exciting.
Richmond is closer, but I don't know anyone there, plus it doesn't seem as fun as going to Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Surprisingly there were no issues with getting tickets. It used to be quite hard to get tickets to see her. But I guess the gap in touring has made her less popular.

But great for me! So excited!
