No idea why, but 'Light My Fire" still does. It is as overplayed as it gets, and I am done to death with all of its peers (see rest of thread), but this one sounds fresh as a daisy every time.

I have...I don't listen to any of those tunes anymore...especially "Losing My Religion" and "Smells Like Teen Spirit".

Maybe only overplayed at our house but I never get tired of anything on this album ... ever.

The big Pink Floyd songs that classic radio never tires of. I've heard them on the radio, I've played them for myself, countless times. I still turn them up.

Green Onions by Booker T and the MGs. Still the coolest.

Stairway. I SHOULD be sick of it, but I'm just not. The last half of it is still goosebump-inducing.

Comfortably Numb / Time / Wish You Were Here

Any of the Stones' classic rock staples, with the exceptions of "Start Me Up" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want."

Also, even though they are not among my all-time favorite Clash tunes, I'll always stay on the dial for "London Calling" and "Should I Stay Or Should I Go."

Layla is the type of song I'm ambivalent about. If I cued it up and played it myself – and I've been known to, occasionally – it'd be fine. But if it came up on classic rock radio I'd think, "ugh, can't you think of something else to play."

I was thinking about this idea this morning at the gym, and of course there's already a thread for it!

The gym I go to plays the local classic rock station. Before I got my current vehicle, my old one only had basic radio, so I heard the local classic rock station for years and years. There are some songs I would pay good money to never, ever hear again. However, there are some that I enjoy every single time, even though I hear them 1-3 times a week at the gym (their early morning guys only work from a list of 100 songs, it seems).

Free Bird came on this morning. A good time, every time. Same for Hotel California, Stairway to Heaven, Light My Fire (the original slower mix), Go Your Own Way, and Won't Get Fooled Again. There are plenty of overplayed songs I still enjoy, but those are ones that are fresh and fun every time.

Dead Or Alive "You Spin Me Round (Like A Record)". I must have heard this thousands of times. Every single time the intro starts I love it. I'm very surprised that I've never even remotely felt anything other than joy every time. It must be contender for my all-time favourite.

Other songs which have been played to death by radio, TV, and myself at home which I never tire of are:
    Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody"
    ABBA "Knowing Me, Knowing You"
    Gary Numan "Cars"
