Ugly Christmas album covers

Is that legit?

 

It is. That's the cover of the US version (Rounder Records 1996), the original cover in the UK (Durtro 1995) was this:

 

I like this one, you gotta find the xmas crown album that would win this thead....i dont recall the title. Actually a few on crown could go in this thread.

 

I can see why they changed it.... jesus was the guy who did this have blurry vision or what?

Thanks guys! I haven't laughed this hard in I don't know how long. I usually don't care for the "worst album cover" threads because you just see the same ones over and over.

Not only have I not seen most of these before, but something about them being Christmas covers make them so much funnier!

 

Absolute garbage pressing too (the version I had, at least). I seem to remember fake stereo panned too far to one side. Ditched it for a 2nd US pressing years ago.

 

You could also say there is a good reason why Photoshop was invented! These are almost universally hideous...but fun to look at in a train wreck sort of way!

 

Captain and Tennille is really awful...they should have known better! That has to be fairly recent. Just hideous.

 

Many of the images have fallen prey to the Photobucket debacle.
