According to Discogs, my most valuable single record (going by median sale value) is Tame Impala's debut on 45 rpm. This was the first pressing and according to some sources only 200 were pressed worldwide. The second pressing is 33 rpm.

Nirvana - Love Buzz original Sub Pop 7"
The first few Guided By Voices independent released albums go for crazy money now

At boot shows and record shows in the late 80's and early 90's I picked up a dozen or so, extremely oddball Japanese Ozzy LP's different colored LPs, and covers, an LP shaped like a saw blade....one LP I have never seen anywhere with jake and Ozzy....don't have the time to check values....all mint....My son will get them some day...some very odd things though..many odd picture discs.....

Yes, the original. Set me back $20-30 when new.

So weird that the OP is still priced so high when the new version is super cheap. Not like the mid-90's were an audiophile time for vinyl. I've been told the original MC&TIS is slightly better than the new reissue, but not by a lot.

My uncle gave me all of his UK Beatles/Stones /Who /Purple /Zeppelin and other first issues from the 60s/70s, so probably some of those are worth a bit.
They are up in the attic gathering dust but will check them out if I lose my job or something.

I'm just glad I got all of these titles when I did. Not a chance in hell I'd pay the asking price for them on eBay.

Probably my sealed Pink Floyd "Echoes" box set. I paid $40 at a record show and it sells for $275+ now.

My Colgems copy of the Mono "Birds, The Bees, & The Monkees" seems to fetch $800 on average in auctions on Ebay in recent years. I paid a dollar for mine.

Currently, Frank Ocean's Blonde LP, although it's on order, hopefully winging its way here as I type. I see in Discogs one sold recently for £160!

It was a black Friday offer and prices went crazy as soon as it sold out.

Glad I picked this one up on lp when it came out. I haven't finished entering my collection into discogs, but this one is the current winner.
