Please offer examples of songs with Great Piano and Organ parts
Such as "Stage Fright" by the Band. The songs begins with a strong
rhthymic piano played by Richard Manuel and is followed by a
swirling organ by Garth Hudson. The two parts complement each other
beautifully. The organ part can be a Hammond, Lowery, Vox, Farfisa, etc.
Piano could be acoustic, Wurlitzer, Fender Rhodes, Hohner Pianet, etc.
But No Synths Please. Doesn't have to be played by two different people.

"Lights" by Journey. Nice piano part by Greg Rollie with some tasteful organ overdubbed.

(Pretty good vocals and guitar too....)

    Yes, but where's the organ?

In the meantime, Chester Thompson played some nice organ on Stinker.

Kind of a lame choice, but the way the Beastie Boys sampled Jimmy Smith's Root Down is genius.

Elton's AMAZING solo on "Mellow". The guy shoulda played more Hammond. I'm a Hammond player and this is amazingly expressive playing.

He plays a nice little bit of organ on the song, but I'm pretty sure the solo is Jean Luc-Ponty on the electric violin. (I play Hammond too BTW).

    And again:

No; it's a Hammond, as mentioned by the OP.

    And my favorite:

This one will stretch the bounds of what the OP was asking about, but Lord's solo and the whole tune is so over the top good that I'm just posting it and stating that it's indeed organ (and certainly not synth), but perhaps not one that was mentioned.

Whenever I think I'm tired of listening to rock guitar and then I hear a master guitarist like
Ritchie Blackmore play, I fall in love with guitar all over again.
And what can you say about Jon Lord playing the Hammond organ. Superb!
The only small detail missing is that there's no piano in the song.
But that's OK because I thoroughly enjoyed the clip!
