I pre-ordered the splatter color version of This Is Boston, Not L.A. this afternoon. The red white and blue version sold out quickly. I don't think this album has been released on vinyl since the original in 1982, so I'm stoked to check it out.

Looks like the fleet foxes debut on clear is back in stock online. Just ordered it. Almost spent stupid money on it in eBay a few months ago too.

I just went buck wild and grabbed all of the available Hendrix and CCR, and some Allman Brothers thrown on top. What can I say? I had a case of the Mondays.

    All were reasonably priced.

Anyone have any guesses based on newburys past when a next online sale may be? I've got an itch on a lot of their exclusives but trying to be sensible and wait for a 20pct off day

I didn't know they had online sales. The stores do 20% off occasionally, usually on the long weekends.

They had a flash 25% off sale recently. And it was on a day when we got about 10" of snow.

Yes, I saw that a few weeks ago. Usually it's on a long weekend though.

Yeah I just searched their twitter, they've done 15% sales online in August and November and 20% in January.

I was thinking the same. No way I'm paying $40 for that but it sure does look nice! And I'm missing that Yo La from my LP collection.

I've had the normal vinyl on my amazon price watch for ages, so this is a no brainer eventually

I can't imagine this being one of their fast sellouts either so should be safe to wait a bit to see if a sale pops up.

I think so too at that price, with GBV's Under the Bushes still on sale 6 months later. If they start tweeting they're running low like the Modest Mouse Lonesome Crowded West, then I'll suck it up. I want that Magnolia Electric Co too, but not for $35.

Listening to it now on YouTube. Cool album. Nice night time chill album. Will definitely pick up when the next NC 20% coupon goes up.

Watch out for sugar cube! It's all over the map but a great album. And then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out is a really great chill record. They're a great band, especially live. :righton:

Ah I had to pass on Yo La Tengo. $40 even with 20% off its still expensive, considering the normal black copy goes for almost half the price.

I ended up buying Graceland and 3 CCR albums for $63 shipped. All NC exclusives.

I hear you on that. I've been meaning to get that album on standard vinyl for ages. Amazon has it for $24 and according to camelcamelcamel I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One (2LP) by Yo La Tengo (B0131RBZR0) that's the normal price.

So with the sale at $34, $10 for the fancy vinyl color, I could justify it, plus everything else I got was jazz stuff that was in the $15-20 range so it averaged out.

I "saved" $18.99 on the Yo La Tengo, Songs Ohio - Magnolia Electric Co on blue, and the clear Fleet Foxes Helplessness Blues that was sold out awhile back so I was glad to pick that one up.
