There are several albums I like so much that I buy every copy I see: The Great Lost Kinks Album I must have ten copies of. Others include Tasty by the Good Rats, Hackamore Brick's album, a couple by Cactus and anything on the German Brain label. If we include Cd's, any RCA Bowie, anything on Enigma Retro, and anything on the German Line/Linam label.

DSOTM for me as well. Ever since it was released. Can't say that about any other album.

Scrolling through the other posts, it was great seeing Maggot Brain listed a few times. :edthumbs:

Believe me I have time to listen a lot of stuff ... I can listen to music on my work whenever I want.

But sure, I said that in a figurative sense, maybe I can pass a week without listening to these albums but not more than that!

Thats why I asked for obsessions and not just favorite albums. Not everybody does listen to the same thing over and over, but I am one of those people.
I have 5 - 7 albums that I can listen everyday without getting bored.

Other than that, this is some nice rockabilly gospel.

Exile on Main St. - Only in its entirety. The sum of all its parts and the flow run me through an emotional gauntlet.
    Kind of Blue
    In A Silent Way
Trouble - Trampled By Turtles - I've loved this album for ten years now. Was at the album release party in Duluth, MN.
    Graceland

And props to the guy above for saying Byrdmaniax. I love that album too. "Pale Blue" is a favorite.

Lately I've been obsessed with PG era Genesis and early to mid Yes, but all time? I'd say:
    Jethro Tull Stand Up
    Jethro Tull Aqualung
    The Who Tommy
    Traffic Barleycorn
    Traffic Low Spark
    Beach Boys Surfs Up

Just never did that, I guess - I've always restless to hear something new and different. Radio killed so much stuff for me by playing it incessantly back then that I certainly wasn't going to do it myself.
