There are several albums I like so much that I buy every copy I see: The Great Lost Kinks Album I must have ten copies of. Others include Tasty by the Good Rats, Hackamore Brick's album, a couple by Cactus and anything on the German Brain label. If we include Cd's, any RCA Bowie, anything on Enigma Retro, and anything on the German Line/Linam label.

 

Too many genres, too many great records. I completely agree.

 

For me I'm obsessed with the following Lp's

- Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
- City Boy - City Boy
- Queen - Queen
- Beatles - The Beatles

 

I assume it is the record I have played the most. So Exile.

DSOTM for me as well. Ever since it was released. Can't say that about any other album.

Scrolling through the other posts, it was great seeing Maggot Brain listed a few times.

 

Believe me I have time to listen a lot of stuff ... I can listen to music on my work whenever I want.

But sure, I said that in a figurative sense, maybe I can pass a week without listening to these albums but not more than that!

 

Thats why I asked for obsessions and not just favorite albums. Not everybody does listen to the same thing over and over, but I am one of those people.
I have 5 - 7 albums that I can listen everyday without getting bored.

Other than that, this is some nice rockabilly gospel.
