I don't believe anyone has received the DVD yet, but I may be mistaken.

 

Did that RSD 7" come out in the end? Back Street Mirror b/w Don't Let It Fall Through.
I see no evidence of it online.

 

Vinyl made it to Glasgow. Looks good. Now to play the thing...

 

I believe it was pulled from release. Possibly because of financial issues but whatever the reason I don't believe any copies were pressed. It would have been an intriguing single for the DJ nights you previously mentioned.

How do you know that it's vinyl only? I hadn't heard that.

 

I'll buy stuff again only when it's entered the world of physical realization, maybe even from a trusted reseller if you have to pay in advance, let them wait and I'll pay a bit more, and I've never seen any vinyl release that supposedly sold out that wasn't gettable through a reseller. I prefer vinyl when done well and with the same contents. I was hoping for flac downloads of the bonus tracks, seemed like a very fancy card to lead to 192 bitrate MP3s.

I emailed [email protected] on April 13th inquiring about the shipping of my LP to Ireland. I have not received a reply.

So I've emailed the same address to ask for a refund of the vinyl part of the order. I paid for the whole package in February 2016, I have the CD and am happy with it. Frankly, I'm not bothered about the record anymore. If the DVD ever gets released I'll be curious to see that. But as of now, I'd just like my money back.

 

Couldn't agree more. I emailed again yesterday (after no reply from any email dating back to last February) and still no LP and no response. I'd rather have my money back at this stage.

Got an immediate response from the above email address.
It began "All sales are final, shipping the 2LP set now without the DVD" and then the usual stuff about emails that were sent or weren't sent or received or not received and then more about being a one-man company etc.

 

well I give up then. I don't know what to tell you.

 

At what point does a formal complaint with the BBB or a disputed credit card charge become necessary? Up to this point I've been happy to give John the benefit of the doubt but the response to that email was downright dismissive.

 

Which means the DVD is still not ready, eh? I thought that was supposed to have been at the pressing plant in March? I was content to hang in there and get my vinyl once the DVD was ready, but perhaps I should do as you have done.

 

Frankly, I think demanding money back, just because it's late, is bizarre. My concern was that my order may have been lost, but as long as the LP's are still in the process of being shipped, I'm content to wait.

I hope folks will continue to report when theirs arrive, so I can keep tabs on it.
