I feel the same way whenever I hear about these potential cross over movies, the Guardians are obviously strong enough on their own, at least we'll get movie #3 before they splinter off and get watered down in other Marvel vehicles.

Pretty sure they'll be in Infinity Wars before GotG Vol 3 is released.

Yeah I think they have two movies of wall slamming and car smashing already 'in the can'.

Just got back from seeing it. I was short of meh about the first one, but thought that they knocked Vol. 2 out of the park. Very highly recommended if you are into this sort of thing at all.

I thought I was the only one who felt 'meh' about the first one...
Now, I'm gonna go see the second one.

Saw it yesterday and enjoyed it as much as the first one, and although I thought it wouldn't, it surprised me more than a few times. From my point of view, Kurt's performance in particular was very solid.

    Kurt was brilliant in it.
    But ..storyline was warped.
    Sly ? Wasted opportunity.
Lee and The Watcher too goofy.

Just got back. I liked this movie and soundtrack better than the first.

Immigrant Song is in the Thor: Ragnarok trailer, and not Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

I saw this today, I enjoyed it more than the first one, probably because the characters are already all together, the banter is all there - and they can just kick on with the story.

Saw it over the weekend with my kids who gave it three very strong thumbs up. I'm not much of a Marvel movie guy but I really enjoyed it (and I liked the first one as well save that it may have overstayed a itself a bit). That certain conversation about a certain appendage will stick with me for years to come I think.

Loved it. I think it was at least good as the first...possibly better actually.

The ending actually choked me up.

Saw this today and really enjoyed it. A little goofier than I would have liked at times, but definitely a worthy follow up. Didn't care much for the music. The Fleetwood Mac and Cheap Trick songs were okay, though neither really seemed to fit well with the on screen action. But where was Fox On The Run? It was great in the preview and I kept waiting for it the whole movie.

The GCI effect for young Kurt Russell at the beginning was fantastic. That is the best I have ever seen an effect like that done.

Did he explain why his human body was aging? He was supposed to be immortal.

BeatleJWOL Carnival of Light enjoyer... IF I HAD ONE

There was a line about how he wanted to appear the right age to be a father figure, I don't recall the specifics though.
