Reminds me of Continuum. Which is a good thing. It's very likeable music.

Sorry to be negative but it feels really lightweight and bland to me.
Maybe because I really liked the more 'grown-up' sound/lyrics of Born and Paradise.

Also the CD is just so loud, I have to keep on turning it down and I'd prefer the opposite!

Whether you like it or not he knows how to craft the perfect pop song, over and over again. He probably could just be a songwriter for other artists

Got the vinyl today... so surprised... it's a 45 RPM 12 inch'. Very audiophile sounding, great dynamic range. On track 5 right now... can crank this up and it sounds like the best Mayer from the audio perspective, haven't heard the whole album yet.

The vinyl and the vol. 1 Mp3 mix I heard are 100% different.

Nice! Can't wait to listen to mine. The MP3 is pretty compressed

Received the LP yesterday, was pretty surprised about the sound quality, which is much better than the CD. The listening experience is like you heard it for the first time. Overall quality is excellent and the pressing quality is very good - if there is something I would have done differently, is't making it a gatefold - regretfully the two albums came in a single pocket sleeve, each in glossy printed inner sleeve's ... this is a minor so, highly recommended!

...makes me envious...would love to listen to a needle drop.

It's the old story...WHY can't they release the vinyl master as a digital version at least?

i just opened my vinyl copy and thought the exact same thing. I was so pleased to see that its 45rpm (i wish more artists did this!) and the sound quality is nothing short of superb.

I have to also comment that when i first listened to this album digitally on my headphones the production & recording of this album really shines. The song "Moving on getting over" is a song you could use to test your audiophile system IMO.

The EU looks to be a gzvinyl pressing. No gzvinyl in the deadwax as they used to do till some years ago, but the matrix numbers look the same and the pressing feels like a gzvinyl job. Sound quality is great. The records are mostly centered and flat. Unfortunately my copy has some scratches on side 1, so will ask for another copy.

Got my vinyl copy today. US pressing from Amazon, STERLING RJ in the deadwax, Greg Calbi credited for mastering in the insert.

This is great news. I've been digging this album for a few weeks and have been in the fence on getting the vinyl. I'll pick it up this weekend. Thanks for the info guys!
