I thought his only absence was from the Hawaii trip and concerts.

I forgot about that, Bruce being in Europe

Don't think he was in Europe for all of the Smiley sessions.

That may be so, nonetheless exhaustive research suggests that he abstained from participating in the Smiley sessions. There's an illuminating line-by-line look at the vocalists for "Wind Chimes" in "The Definitive Vocal Credits Thread..." over at smileysmiledotnet

Yeah I've always thought the high, "Close your eyes and lean back" was Bruce.

Definitely one of the Wilsons. The Hawthorne accent is detectable, which you won't hear from Bruce.

I noticed how this happened. I registered for email updates before there was a price. Then someone here already noticed the price had been set so I ordered. Then today I got an email syaing it was ready for order and when I looked the price had doubled. Moral? Do not wait for email notifications. But I reckon the price will drop again. Or buy it from spincds at 12.99. They'll be trustworthy enough on a CD like this.

I assume that it will go back down, since 12.99 was the price for the 2CD Party Unplugged album too.

Am guessing the extended 'Vegetables' is the same one on Hawthorne, CA?

The whole Smiley Smile sessions section is listed as "Previously unreleased" on the press release.

No way. There's no audible punch in there.

If I had to guess, I'd vote Brian, but I wouldn't bet my life on it.

It'd be a refreshing change from the 101 Beatles threads, around here ;)
