    This is very true.
For me, Redford is Gatsby. he always loved to get that 'all American Boy' role and then show that underneath, he was not an All American Boy.
I always felt he would have been a great Priest in Thorn Birds. The handsome man suppressing his feelings, 'innocent' but always ambitious, and finally destroyed by his own actions, which he had already forgiven himself for.

Add me to the list. A very funny movie. Heck, I wish they'd actually make "Fake Purse Ninjas"!

I can't bring myself to watch a movie about a guy whose name is an adverb. 'Weiner Dog', however, is all kinds of awesome.

"House 2" isn't great, but I think it's enjoyable and superior to the first film:

House II: The Second Story [Blu-ray] (1987)

The same with Return Of The Killer Tomatoes, a much better movie that the original (although it's unlikely that George Clooney would call much attention to it in his resume).

I really enjoy Defending Your Life and it seems that whenever I mention it, I get blank looks because no one knows it or the others state they didn't like. I think it's funny and thought provoking.

The 10th Victim looms very large on my SPY VIBE website. I've written about it often (loved the costumes!), and I focus on the movie in one of my radio episodes for Cocktail Nation. I've collected memorabilia from the film since I was kid and even got to produce the stills/poster gallery for the Blu-ray! It would indeed make an interesting premise for a series, though I'd sure hope to see it set in that marvelous Mod/futuristic universe.

Thought of another one. Not sure if people don't like it or if it just isn't well known. Big Fish. About a man on his death bed that tell's Big Fish stories but you will be surprised about his stories:

I have the book too and I like the movie better than the book.

"Big Fish" was well-received: 77% on Rotten Tomatoes, and a passable $66 million US box office. Not a huge hit, but not a massive flop, either...

I saw Music of Chance in the theater way back when. I used to really like James Spader in full sleaze mode.

Some of the movies listed in this thread are definitely cult favorites to a reasonable amount of folks (ie, Buckaroo Bonzai). I was thinking of something more along the lines of Going Overboard with Adam Sandler. It's the kind of bad movie that isn't even 'so bad it's good' or fun in a cheeky way. It's a comedy without comedy or any real camp appeal and just doesn't work on any level.

Do you enjoy that in a non-ironic "so bad it's good" way or do you legitimately think it's an objectively entertaining movie?

"Career Opportunities" has Jennifer Connelly at peak hotness, so you're forgiven there.

The other 2? You're on your own! :D
