Amazon Prime Day is July 11th (2017)

Didn't see this mentioned in the previous Pink Floyd posts, but The Division Bell is about $25 right now on Amazon. I had two crap pressings, but for that price I took another chance on it...

 

I bought nothing yesterday. None of the CD deals were compelling.

 

I bought a two pack of swim goggles for the kids, a stethoscope for my son-in-law, a 4 pack of iphone lightning cables and as a treat to myself... one of those little projectors that shines stars and planets on your bedroom ceiling.

 

Ha! Pour the champagne, turn out the lights, peck her on the cheek and whisper, "Baby, I'm gonna make you see stars tonight . . . "

Then turn the machine on. "Isn't it awesome? Amazon Prime! Ooh, I think that's Orion. Wait, I need to re-calibrate it. That should be on the other wall."

 

I bought a pack of Affresh washing machine cleaning pods

 

For cleaning LPs?

 

I got the only available lp copy of Mirror Man by Captain Beefheart. Why would they have a Prime Deal offer of something that they only have one of?

 

Because they've had it forever?

 

I wonder how long it was left under the heat lamp.

 

Got a condenser mic pretty cheap and picked up a mint coin set to sell on eBay and make 40 bucks so i can feed my addiction and buy more records.....

 

I managed to bag both the Atlantic Mono Ray Charles and John Coltrane record sets on Amazon UK's prime day last week - Ray for £60.99 and Coltrane for £43.99 so I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself
