I'm excited by this since some of my favorite episodes are from the later seasons that haven't been released on dvd yet. I'm with those who will wait for a price drop, though.

Last time I checked they were pulled from Hulu. I think they were removed last December.

This is great news for me; this is probably my favorite tv show of all time!

I think I have seen all of them. The whole series. A very clever funny show. I loved the Arnold the pig watching tv for some reason I find that so funny. ha

Last time I watched it on AntennatV, 'wetback' was removed.

It's a show that I never get tired of. Many people assume that it was created as a reverse of the Beverly Hillbillies fish-out-of-water formula, and I suppose it is, but it was also a revival of a radio comedy called 'Granby's Green Acres,' with Gale Gordon and Bea Benaderet starring.
Also, while it purports to be about 'city guy living in the country,' the real fish-out-of-water theme of the show is 'sane guy living in a town of crazies.' As far as I know, 'Newhart' was the closest successful attempt to revive the spirit of the show.

You could still view them on Netflix a couple of months ago.

"NewsRadio" was also highly influenced by it, and even referred to "Green Acres" a few times...

Ah, so the DVDs might be edited as well.

Not everybody gets this Hulu thing either. It's not something that's available anywhere in the world.

I looked for the clip on YouTube (but no one uploaded it) where Dave and Lisa are at the TV shop, and he's watching Green Acres while she's watching C-SPAN. That was also the episode where James Caan guest-starred. One of my very favorite NewsRadio eps--so many great ones to choose from.

The Amazon page for GA also shows that the complete series of 'Coach' is being released in September for $70.00.

Although the last individual season they released on DVD kind of stank.

Glad to see there is going to be extras.... But, it's too bad they didn't tap Tom Lester ("Eb") to do a few commentaries...

Now that would have been cool! I'm sure he would have been willing to do them, too. This would have been the perfect opportunity.

Yeah, I get the impression he would have done them too: Now granted, iI haven't see much of anything with him talking about "Green Acres", but I always get the impression he was quite fond of the show and being a part of it...

Now this may be a false memory, but I "think" I recall seeing a photo of him in later days wearing his original "Eb" jacket, which says to me if he still owns something from the show, he has good memories of doing it...

I see this is now just under $96 on Amazon with the release date still more than two months out. I assume it will drop even lower at some point.
