Doc Watson. Bluegrass festival of some sort along the river in Louisville, KY, somewhere about 1985-86. We'd actually come there for New Grass Revival, and...there he was!

I'm with the forum country posse on this one: Ray Price. Well into his 70s, but when that voice filled the room ... I've rarely seen an audience so captivated.

Probably B.B. King at the Felt Forum in NYC in, I think, 1992. He would have been around 67 at the time. He did sit for much of the show, but he played and sang great. Buddy Guy, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and Dr. John were also on the bill. Of course, Buddy Guy stole the show.

Saw him at an outdoor show last month. At 80 years old He rocked!
Did some history of the blues playing BB style, John Lee style, to Clapton, SRV, and some Hendrix including behind the back. Probably a few more i don't remember anymore.

    He is still amazing.

Plan to see Herbie Hancock, age 77, at the same venue next month. Looking forward to it.

Ringo, last year at age 76. Unpretentious, clearly having a blast, totally comfortable in his own skin and putting on a lively, fun show.

So, so true. I saw him at Knuckleheads Saloon in 2011 and his voice was as rich and full as when he was a young man.

Not that old, but both in their 70s... saw Van Morrison and Tom Jones last fall and they both could still "bring it on home."

At 74 Jeff Beck is a youngster compared to some on this list, but I think he bears mentioning because he's actually better than he was when he was a younger man. I can't think of another guitarist of his generation who has improved. Usually, they are a shadow of their former selves, or just barely holding their own. I saw Jeff last summer and I thought, "I know it is selfish of me because you might prefer being at home with your feet up, but you simply HAVE to get out and tour more while you can. You owe it to the universe to create as much of that incredible musical mayhem on stage as possible before you shuffle off this mortal coil."

I´m surprised that no one have mentionend Jeff Lynne (ELO). At 70 he is still singing with that Beautiful soft voice (OK, he was 69 when this clip was recorded):

Stanislaw Skrowaczeski conducted Bruckner 5 at the RFH a year or so ago. He was 92 or 93 at the time.
I've also seen Benny Golson and Barry Harris recently both were well in their 80s. John McLaaughlin was also great recently, I think he's 75.
