Royal Oak, correct. I'm not from there so didn't quite catch the wrong theater name.

I saw her this past weekend in Seattle. Unbelievably good. Basically a religious experience!

I agree. The NY show last August was ditto for me-I put of shoulder surgery for about three months because I already had a ticket and it was worth the pain. Have two front row in Vienna VA for July, probably try to sell one of them cause nobody here can go with me. I am curious to see if a seated venue will translate like the GA.

She is making another pass thru LA so I get to see her again Wed. Tickets are only $20! Couldn't pass that up.

Nice price - I had to pay $70/ticket for the VA show! :realmad:

For me the greatest current active artist on the planet.

Just been watching some youtube videos from her recent shows over in The US.

    Simply stunning this...

Great review here calling her an 'Archangel of Rock' - fantastic description of an incredible artist.

Just saw her last evening at Forecastle Festival in Louisville, KY (USA). Astonishing set! The band and her were on fire! The new material from HSDP was really, really powerful live. Excellent sound, excellent playing! Highly recommended!

I am going to see her in Oslo in August. I saw her here last summer, but that was a festivalgig. Very, very good, but i hope she will play a longer set this time. She is one of my top five favourite artists. I have been listening to her albums for over 20 years. Dont think she has a bad album.

That was my only gripe - her set only lasted 75 minutes (festival slot)!

I'll be there for my second hit on this run! If she's like she was in NY, you will undergo a wonderful experience.cwd

Will be catching her in August at Budapest's Sziget Festival. Afraid about the context and environment being it a festival gig but love her so much and based upon these fresh reviews above I am expecting an avalanche of great performances. Just wish she would still play guitar during her shows as in the past.

    That's a relief.

SummerStage has a strict 10:00 curfew, so I questioned the 8:30 start time.

The Anicosta Union Temple Baptist Church Choir is going to be appearing tonight and in Wolf Trap.

I'm in line ready to get the front stage.

So many UK, South American, Eastern and Western European tourists here etc plus resident goth and '90's and beyond music geeks. 'Show' us some 'love' - this is 'the letter' ;) as fans of your music would like to hear and see you here in concert...

You're so excited you forgot how to spell "Anacostia"? ;)

My phone screwed it up

Great show tonight.......maybe my favorite of the 4 I've seen this tour.

Big changes to the setlist from last year and this spring. I won't mention them since some of you are going to correctly spelled Anacostia area show Thursday.

I agree, tonight was great. The changes to the setlist definitely added to the show. The sound was so much better than Terminal 5.

Actually, we're going to the show Friday.

Go ahead - blame your phone for that one, too! ;)
