True. It's difficult to tell, but there's no reason why he couldn't have (sadly) had it dyed between those interviews, and the train ride.

Never thought I'd be discussing this, but there we are. A couple of pics from both the Tim Minchin interview, and the '60 Minutes' Aussie programme.

It's probably the most grey roots I can remember seeing. Either he's transitioning, or hasn't been for a trip to the barber on Penny Lane for a while.

  2. Genesis actually started the rock book thing in 1980/81 with I Me Mine. And it continues today. They have a wonderful catalogue for collectors.

Didn't you notice? They announced the plans seventeen days ago. ;)

...for rich collectors that is. I would have loved to have been able to afford several of the Genesis books, especially Hamburg Days.

Based on past announcements, the Comprehensive Plan announcement should arrive tomorrow or next Thursday.

    Wouldn't hold my breath

They know how many people are going crazy checking his site everyday and they like messing with people so it won't be til 31 July

They've slid me the Comprehensive Plan™ via PM, but site rules prohibit me from revealing private communications without express written permission™. Sorry.

It's my birthday on Saturday. I was hoping that MPL might give me a WildLife Archive edition to celebrate, buy time is running out. Even an announcement that WL is next would make it a special birthday.

I think you'd be better off buying yourself a birthday cake. ;)

  13. How do I know which of my dollars is the bottom dollar? Or the top dollar, for that matter?

I am betting my bottom dollar that the whole Archive Collection series as we know it is dead and buried.

Definitely a fair chance of that

    It's dead, Jim.

    That would be sad.

When you have only one dollar left, it doesn't matter what you call it: bottom or top. ;)

I'll bet you a dollar (bottom dollar or top dollar---your choice!) that the Archive series is not over. ... ;)

Though some of his best albums didnt get a deluxe appreciation yet. Wild Life, Red Rose Speedway, Flaming Pie,...

Autumn 2017 would be more nice.

CDs are probably better backups. Hard drives could die sooner as we believe.

Wouldn't come Off The Ground first? An extended/reworked version of Off The Ground: The Complete Works maybe?

This album could get a deluxe edition though. Just taking the original master disc, adding 2 more CDs with studio and live material (b-sides, etc.) and extended liner notes plus lots of photos from that period, would look cool I think.
