I cannot find a copy of the 2013 Bob Ludwig remaster of Trout Mask Replica. Checked Discogs, Amazon, eBay. Nada. Anyone have advice on where to get a copy? Thank you

It's out of print, so you will just need to keep looking around ...

I saw a copy on eBay but it was not cheap. I saw the old Reprise CD last weekend at one of my locals. Both CD pressings are OOP and expensive now. I would wait until it (Zappa Records) gets reissued again which I would think will happen again soon if they care. You may get lucky if you are persistent in looking for it online and snag a used copy at a fair price.

Zappa Records has been better than most companies at keeping their catalog in print. There are anomalies but I never expected to see the Project/Object sets come back for $10-$20 bucks. It might be a while but expect a reprint.

I have a feeling that Zappa Records will tend to keep Frank's stuff available, Beefheart I'm not so sure.

I bought it when it came out. It wasn't cheap with shipping to the UK.

I guess I'll just be happy with the old CD I have. Crazy this is nowhere to be found.

I have the older CD and kept intending to get the new one but never got around to it. Assuming it's OOP, if it's repressed I'll probably pick it up, but if not, I haven't read anything that would persuade me that it's different enough from the older CD to justify paying inflated prices for.

Don't give up on it. It's about the search as much as the catch.

You are right. It is as much about the search. Found it in the UK and its on its way!
