Refuse it when it arrives. You can even track its return, just don't open it & it'll be cool

I got my copy last week. Dead quiet. And of course, a fantastic album.

Does it sound better than the original pressing? I have one of those.

  5. I ordered this LP thanks to dasacco's post. It was out of stock when I ordered but I received a shipping notice that it's now on its way. Not that anyone should care that 'mine shipped', but thought I'd mention this as the album is still at the $11.32 price and - while again currently out-of-stock - Amazon does seem to be filling the orders as stock comes in.

Mine shipped today too. I really don't need this but I'm glad it's on the way, if that makes any sense!

No, I save $2.22 with Amazon, and as much as I buy, on a pension, every penny counts. Chris Brown gave me his blessing long ago. In fact, I just wrote them a glowing review on Facebook, which Chris appreciated.

I can't speak to an original pressing, but I have the RSD version, and it's just an unbelievable pressing. Compared to the old original CD I've owned for 20+ years, it's night and day.

I thought this was a bargain at $30 (and it was); but if you don't have this yet, this price is more than a good deal...

I have an original in pretty nice shape, but for $20 and change, I ordered this reissue. I have some other recent Chris Bellman remasters (Joni Mitchell, John Prine) and they are great. I'm not sure how close to a first press it is, but didn't think my original was anything super special sound-wise.

P.S. When I placed my order last night, it was listed as backordered but I bet they will be able to fill it.
