Yeah, I'll probably spring for that one again too. :agree:

It's a bit hard to tell, but it looks like the original "thumb" cover.

I hadn't even given that any thought, but I suspect that these days there's no reason to not use the original cover! All the more reason to get it. Oddly enough, one of the reasons this title is a lock for me is that the cover on my Straight copy is badly worn and my WB "trees" copy has a split seam. And this is one of those where a perfect cover is a big attraction!

It's not really a list per se. It's about 4 pages of items you can pre-order.

Yeah, it would be great if someone could paste the titles to the thread here. From a quick Google search, I can only see Jane's Addiction "Nothing's Shocking" on clear vinyl.

Is that really the reason? I thought the site was just down for me. What is there to gain from blocking their website from international visitors?

I am from Europe and I can't access the site either...so if someone could paste the 4 pages list...

I just found a number of titles on the Barnes and Noble site by searching "rocktober" - rocktober

Great to see Skid Row - "B-Sides Ourselves".

Same here. I've never even seen the untouched cover, let alone owned it. Plus! Colored vinyl too. I am also getting my first ever vinyl copy of "Pretties for You." This is a great campaign.

I'm not so jazzed about the colored vinyl (especially two colors), but I suppose it won't negatively affect the sound.

Yes...these look like the correct titles, thank you. The Bull Moose site had a number of titles mixed in that weren't even part of the Rocktober campaign. I think it was just an upcoming /preorder collectible vinyl area.

So, most of these will be on colored vinyl of some kind....but that info doesn't show here. I removed all the B&N sales info, but the prices were about $20...same as Bull Moose.

Live and Dangerous and Electric Warrior look interesting. Maybe Love It To Death...

I expect ZZ-Top's First Album to be great. I guess they're holding back Tejas for the Cinco box.

I'm a bit surprised they went with Alice Cooper-Special Forces. Is there a demand for that? I see it around for $2 or $3 all the time. Now, if they would have done DaDa, I could understand it.

hope the faces will be available in europe..;I hadn't bought the box and as they were done AAA, it will perhaps be the same cutting on this issue, as it was when the first lp was available here on one of the previous campaign

I know, quite random given last year was B$B and the others this year are also early titles. I also wonder will it have any remaster treatment.

Interested in the Alice Cooper as well. Billion Dollar Babies from last year's Rocktober is great, the packaging was faithfully recreated, and it came with a neat beer/soda can chiller with purchase. Hopefully this one will be as good. Rhino had LITD out a few years back (on black or limited edition red), long out of print and copies are expensive. The Chicago Terry Kath vinyl may be interesting, but I will have to look into (at least) track listing first.

The Faces box set is great, so I do not need the colored vinyl single album reissues. The box includes all of the B-sides on it's own disc too, which is great. The Cars could have (and should have) done that and not had to issue those new Double LP reissues with a few bonus tracks, a better idea is instead putting them all together on a separate LP, like the Faces box has. Bottom line, the Faces vinyl box is worth the money. I don't miss my old semi-worn out crackly copies.

It's why I thought the Montrose reissues were part of it, but they're not.

The Wayne's World had been reissued as a special vinyl edition for Urban Outfitters at one point. Not sure if it is still available, or even if it was a Rhino reissue. It was colored vinyl, IIRC. I'm definitely in for this one.

    1) Does someone know if the velvet underground loaded will be a new analogue cut or has rhino released this one in the previous years and it would only be a new iteration of a previous cut ?

    2) Same as above for love it to death and pretties for you ;

    3) Will these records also be issued in Europe in physical stores ?
