Buster Keaton. Not a "Star" on TV but a guest on everyone else's shows, he had a pretty good TV career for someone who was considered washed up in 1933, and even got to stretch past what he was known for(a drama based on Gogol's "The Overcoat", for instance).

    Fred MacMurray
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello (people forget they were a big draw at the movies. Third in 1941 and first in 1942).

Does it count if the actor became a movie star after he/she did TV?

    If so... Clint Eastwood!

A&C were always movie stars to me...Their TV show seemed strange, but I did enjoy it.

It just occurs to me, could we include Jack Webb in this? Granted, he only had supporting roles (most notably in Sunset Boulevard), but then came "Dragnet," the original and the inferior late-sixties version......and btw, when I watch Sunset Boulevard now, I can't believe how un-"Jack Webb"-like his performance is---it's like he's trying to outdo Frank McHugh in the sidekick department, and failing miserably!

William Frawley and William Demarest were featured in many movies prior to Lucy/My Three Sons.

Raymond Burr was a noted heavy (no pun intended) in many films prior to PM.

Douglas Fairbanks and Robert Montgomery both hosted successful "Presents" anthologies

Red Skelton has a long running variety show

Probably the biggest TV success for a movie star -- not counting Lucy -- was Dick Powell. He formed the 4 Star prodco w/ David Niven and Charles Boyer, and was the most active partner. 4 Star gave us Dick Powell's Zane Gray Theatre, The Rifleman, Wanted Dead or Alive, Burke's Law, and the Big Valley.

Not every movie star succeeded in the transition. This 4 Star pilot for a Peyton Place-ish soaper called R0yal Bay failed to sell (1964)

Ward Bond was never quite a movie star, even if he did a whole bunch of movies with his longtime friends, the Johns Wayne and Ford. He was a familiar face to movie audiences, but it took TV to truly make him a star.
