Another way to ask this question is: what are the few songs you can listen to exclusively for the rest of your life without growing tired? Almost none. Maybe "House of the Rising Sun" ? "Love I Saw in You was Just a Mirage" would work for me. "Wild Horses" too. I've put those on repeat before. Which others that will not grow stale?

"Paradise in a Purple Sky" from Earthless Meets Heavy Blanket, In a Dutch Haze. Not my all-time favorite by anyone involved here but it's the longest single number I have, it's good stuff, and would keep me well entertained for 58:34

I can sort of understand that. I could wear earbuds at work and play my 7,000 plus songs from my Ipod,
but I don't like listening to music that way, and silence is actually preferable.

Um...yes, what's wrong with that? OP didn't specify the one song had to be a studio recording.

well since that would be a depressing situation to be in I believe I would choose On the Beach by Neil Young which is sort of my blue go to song,.

Well I was hoping to see a single title "song" as everyone's responses, and true, I never said anything about it having to be a studio recording.
