Coopmv this is Erato but a Warner box, so who knows. Playing the Berg, Janacek and Hartmann concertos Zehetmair, Holliger.
Over the past fifteen years, I have really built up my collection of piano works. Until a few years ago, the first stereo version of the Beethoven Piano Sonatas by Kempff was the only Beethoven Piano Sonatas box I have. Now I have fifteen and I should be done with collecting Beethoven Piano Sonatas. The single performance by Horowitz that I really love is Bach Nun Komm Der Heiden Heiland. While I have not heard another pianist performing it, Horowitz has set the gold standard IMO ...
Ah yes, fresh vinyl! It's hard to find a sealed copy for a decent price. Overall, this is my favorite version.
They would have to break into the parcel box, which didn't happen. My carrier put one LP in there, just not the Gould. I have no idea how to deal with this. Of course, the USPS supervisor never called me back, and I kept getting a busy signal when I tried calling him. No doubt they will stand behind their carrier. I think I just kissed $25 ($30 with shipping) goodbye.
Now is my chance to play the following CD from my Bach collection - Flute Concertos by none other than the Man with the Golden Flute ... @DeepFloyd11, Do you have an evil twin for this recording?
Don't recall....will look later. I don't want stains of oil paint on my LPs. (My laptop is used to that and can handle it...).
If you have the Barbirolli in that set then look no further, I can not afford to have my cartridge re-tipped or that is where I would be. The Naxos though is very good.
Time to join the Beethoven Symphonies party, now playing the following CD, one of the roughly 30 versions of the Beethoven 9th from my Beethoven collection ... I don't believe I have many recordings by Della Casa. My understanding is she was awesome!
Or from the covers... So after the one that's playing now, I have the Sharkk Boombox set up to play some rock/ pop fed through my tablet. Good thing my TT is semi-automatic so it goes back to it's start position on its own. The amps I can turn off with my toes ...I have - as my husband calls them- monkey toes. Very dexterous with my feet
