They really do. I don't have this one. Bummer if true & that it's not a good sounding reissue.

I'd like to hear more reviews of others who have it.

Out of curiosity, where are these reports? Was on my "need to buy" list. Bummer to scratch it off.

Agree with Wasatch, they usually do good to great, but there are some that are just ok to not so good.

    Some examples imo:
    Dirt - ok
    Jar Of Flies - outstanding

Some of the Stone Temple Pilots releases were just ok to me...same with Velvet Revolver Contraband - though I still prefer that one over the cd.

A few on discogs, not always reliable I know..but people on there usually say everything sounds 'amazing' so it must be poor for the average Joe to give a thumbs down.

I also have it on clear vinyl, sounds great.

In the beginning I wasn't too thrilled with the news that Duvall took the mic, but the second I heard him I canged opinion. I think both albums they have done with him as lead singer are excellent! Of course it's not the classic AIC, Layne can never be copied/replaced, but this is like a new band to me and I enjoy every album just as much, both the classic and the new ones.
I saw them in Portugal in 2010 (I think) and they did a terrific show...I sure hope they make a new album soon and visit Europe again.

I requested MoV to do Boggy Depot, from original metals. They have done a lot from that era with original plates. I bet the original sounds great!

Looks to be DD 5.1. Probably sounds like garbage.

Been listening to this new AIC LP, pretty raw, but some really tasty stuff.

I hope this year brings us AIC S/T and Facelift Reissues on vinyl! I would soooooo drop $$ on a deluxe boxset.

No! Remastering is a gimmick! The albums sound great as is. As they were intended.

Is there anything left to put on deluxe editions that's not on the box set?

  12. On record, it's kind of like a new band/different band. But I like that band.

They could easily fill out deluxe editions for the first 2 albums with more demos, a live show (or shows) and a DVD.

Did anyone get the Degradation Trip Music on Vinyl? Does it sound that bad?

Did not know about that. Is this the complete set or the condensed version, like the CDs?
