Definitely some great songs there. Nice to see some more recent tracks, too -- not many, to be sure, but I think it's a nice first step for Rolling Stone. :)

While difficult to boil down a nearly fifty year solo career to a mere forty songs, the list is actually not bad. Not difficult to predict numbers one and two - and rightfully so.

Any list that includes Magneto and Titanium Man is okay in my book.

Someone should tell the author that he screwed up the name of Paul's top song in the intro. The title is not "Baby I'm Amazed." At least he got the title right in the No. 1 spot on the list. Nice to see Magneto, Temp Secretary, and Ever Present Past, too. I wouldn't have picked some of the other choices but ...

The fact that they RS made this list is proof that Paul's post -Beatles career more and more getting the recognition it deserves. As for the list I certanely would have made another one. Doesn't t matter -so many great songs.Just reading the list made me smile
What an amazing legacy this and so many great songs . Wanderlust and Little Willow I consider serious omission though

No Helen Wheels, and Mull of Kintyre seemed low, but my other "musts" seem to be there.

Just my opinion, but: How is FourFiveSeconds on this list?

It's a better list than "Pure McCartney".

Rolling Stone's website always does that. It's horrible.

And after seeing "I've Had Enough" at #36, I gave up. Sure, you can love that song and it can be a favorite of yours, but I don't think "I've Had Enough" can be considered as a "great" song. I guess that Rolling Stone defines "great" differently than I do.

But on the other hand: If "I've Had Enough" is #36, then it must mean that "Bip Bop" is top 10... ;)

Not even solo songs, a lot of those songs are Wings songs. Stupid idiots.

Where's "My Love" from Red Rose Speedway.

"Four Five Seconds" oooooh The RS are so edgy. Pathetic list.

This must be the secret Paul album that is supposed to be released in late 2017. Similar to the title of the recent Pure McCartney collection, this one will be called Putrid McCartney. ... ;)

My list would look a lot different (and have "Calico Skies" very near the top) but as a representation of the variety and quirkiness of Paul's post-Beatles work, it's largely a good collection of songs.

I'm fine with the list, but personally I do really like Beautiful Night. I thought it should have been higher on the list.

As in....at least on it lol. But lists are lists, it's fine.

Ha! I did the same thing.... the combination of slow website and seeing 'I've Had Enough' was my cue to quit.

I feel this way about several titles, but it's just a list to stir up readers. I refuse to stir, I hope it gets someone to listen to the songs who otherwise might not have. Pretty good concert review linked on that same page.

I just noticed that #4 is the old R&B song covered by George Harrison. That's part of the joke, right? Or did you get confused?

Yes, any list is just a list. There is no right or wrong. It's just an opinion.

"Mull" should be much higher, and "My Love" should be there somewhere.
