Madman has my favorite string arrangements on any album anywhere, and it's not close.

The strings on Levon and Madman and Indian Sunset, in particular, are scored and mixed like a lead guitar would be in your typical rock band, with a similar massive effect.

Blue Moves and The Big Picture (both double vinyl) are 23.99 at Amazon now. And Empty Sky is 19.19.

They come out this Friday in the U.S.

Haha, maybe -- but I certainly loathe the album as much as you.

It's actually been sent to me multiple times as packing filler for Discogs orders. Once it was even a sealed copy, and I still didn't keep it.

See...this is where I think it's so cool that you guys knock one of my fav EJ albums and I just so understand that everyone's tastes are different and never get offended. I used to love it as a kid but as I grew older I started understanding the cheesiness of a few songs.

I don't know. I think Leather Jackets and Victim of Love belong together in the Hall of Shame. A Single Man is a decent album, IMO. Some of the lyrics are a bit naff without Bernie's touch, but...

I want a double or triple LP reissue of Here and There with the 3 John Lennon tunes. Just like the double CD from '95

I was hoping for a deluxe one step edition of 'Reg Strikes Back' done at 45 rpm from the original tapes in an opulent boxset....

Now that Captain Fantastic has been re-issued and received unanimous praise here (from what I've read) when do we get Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds/One Day At A Time (with John Lennon)?

Will there be a reissue of Greatest Hits 2?

The Thom Bell Sessions was reissues RSD 2016 and still available. Not one I would put on the really bad list. A Single Man I would put in my top 5 post Classic Era titles. Praying 'Victim Of Love' and 'Duets' never get reissued. No love for the Lucy In The Sky cover so see no point.

The Complete Thom Bell Sessions was released on vinyl back in 89 or 90. I think it might have been a promo or limited release, but it definitely is out there.

Lets hope if Victim of Love is released, it doesn't become a Victim of GZ media quality control... :(

That was the "Thom Bell Sessions '77." The Complete Thom Bell Sessions was released in '89 on vinyl and CD.
