"Public domain" release. It is all over the place in EU.
Nothing new, old-good outtakes (bootlegs) re-issued and sold officially because copyright expired.

I‘ve got some CODA stuff on vinyl which sounds pretty good. I‘m guessing the sources are improving too

is there a place where one can find the original version of 19th nervous breakdown where the guitars sound "right"?

Just as an FYI, ABKCO has started to issue the mono albums individually on vinyl. I saw a few in a NYC shop today. I don't think they were pressings from the box set.

    London Hot Rocks 1.

All pre-2002 ABKCO CDs also have the original mix, but some have better mastering than others.

I think I have a West German copy of hot rocks. I haven't pulled it out in years. It's a 2 cd fat boy case. But I think it may have a different mastering the one that you're talking about

Could individual CDs of those titles be released as well?

Yes, the one Lukpac is talking about came in 2 separate volumes, Hot Rocks 1 and Hot Rocks 2. The 2 CD set is more akin to the Abkco mastering.

    And Play With Fire.

Unfortunately, not the bootlegged stereo mixes of Satisfaction and Cloud, which are a bit better.

I used to have a CD called "strictly stereo" that had all those tracks on it. I wish I still had it

to clarify Tommy. Are you saying these are the same mastered releases from the box set put out now individually
And you do not believe it is from a store opening up a box set ?

"Strictly Stereo" comes from 4th generation cassettes. All of those mixes are available in master tape quality now.

I’m not gonna say I’m 100% certain, but they looked like new individual releases.

I don't believe that's these have been released individually as of yet. I would say if and when these get individual releases, the individual single album releases would be distinguishable with a bar code compared to those in the box sets without a barcode.

My bet is the plan of these individual album releases may have been postponed or cancelled with the focus shifted on the TSMR deluxe sets and future deluxe box sets.

I saw them in a store in NYC in the new releases section. Have you done any research or are you speculating?

Partial speculation but I haven't seen any of these single album releases available online (ie: amazon) or in our only music retail chain here in Canada

They certainly could have been from a mono box that was split up. I just queried Flowers on EBay and saw nothing.

I think you’re right. Guess I spoke too soon. My apologies to all.
