Am I the only one bored with late night talk shows?

Nope.

My two guys, Conan and Craig Ferguson, got booted or left years ago.

Leno was mildly amusing at times, his Headlines thing was sometimes the best thing a Monday had to offer. A bit too heavy on the celebrity humor.

There isnt anybody worth watching anymore. They arent funny to me and I sure as hell dont wanna hear their stupid politics.

Who wouldn't LOVE 5 minutes of talking, wrapped around 13 minutes of commercials???

I stopped watching after they took[Arsinio Hall]off the air.

 

Kimmel is one that matters. Then there is Colbert and Oliver who are funnier.

 

I liked Carson and Letterman, say the first 12 years, then he wore quite thin with me. I don't watch any of them now, though I have given each a chance.

 

I Can't Watch Any Of Them. Boring. They Are Not Very Funny At All.
In Fact I Have Not Watched Late Night Television Since Johnny Carson Passed Away.

 

How can you say they are all unfunny and boring if you haven't watched their shows?

Not only boring, but nowadays downright annoying with all the self-righteous political preaching going on.

 

They all are. Trust me...

 

It's called The First Amendment. And I'm glad it exists.

 

Bill Maher and John Oliver are interesting and funny

 

And knowledgeable.

 

Me too, but in this case they are only hurting themselves as viewers tune out.

 

The people that want to hear the message they espouse will stay tuned in, the others will seek their beliefs elsewhere. Nothing new here...

 

I stopped w/ Johnny Carson. Jay Leno seems like a good fellow. He has much respect in the car community.
Never got into Letterman. As to the newer generation, I know who they are, for the most part, but am not a viewer.

 

Beliefs? I thought it was about entertainment.

 

Although I dont share his beliefs, Bill Maher is good. I feel he is sincere in what he is saying. I did not find Kimmel funny, even on The Man Show. Corolla carried that show imo. Remember how awful the Chevy Chase talk show was?

 

I find Alec Baldwin on Saturday Night Live extremely entertaining!!!

I'm enjoying watching Carson on AntennaTV, even though they seem to have cycled through their supply of shows and are all replays. I've wondered what would make it economically viable for them to dip back into the archives and dust off additional episodes.
All the current talk show guys leave me cold; I couldn't match up their names to their pictures, actually.
