Actually it's on here on Monday. Can't believe Channel Seven has pulled their finger out and fast tracked it
Really digging this new season so far. I still don't care about the other sub plots, wanting more of 'Broke' Reddington working cases with daughter Liz!
Wednesday at 7:00 PM seems like an odd time slot for this show, usually that slot is for lightweight family fare. Does this signal a new direction for the show?
8pm here. I think it's just as edgy as 10pm here so far. The stuff they get away with on Empire at 8pm is grittier. I think restrictions have slackened on Network TV, in order to help compete with basic cable content these days.
i totally agree. excellent first show, i just hope they don't overdo the whole suitcase thing...otherwise i am really glad we are getting back to the old 'blacklist'.....go get some really bad and unique criminals. and lizzy seems much more comfortable in this new role than the old one.
Yes, she was actually pregnant last year and they had to jump through a few hoops to disguise it. She also wore a big black coat in quite a few episodes.
I'm getting bored of this one, I really expect this is the last season. I bought all the previous seasons of The Blacklist on BD and I hate leave series I start buying incomplete.
I think the weirdest development is that James Spader has gained about 50 pounds over the summer break. Jesus.
Reddington has become a caricature of himself. We watch only to see these traits come out each week. I don't think the writers have any idea how to move the show along intelligently. At least Aram is finally getting "some" from Samar. It's even more hilarious when he sacredly discloses their relationship & everyone is like, "yeah, so?"
i really like the new direction is taking, however, get the fricking skeleton thing over with ASAP. and get rid of tom, you think they would learn how unlikable he is after he couldn't carry his own show. they must really owe that actor something big to keep him around.
There seemed to be a couple of double meaning mentions in the last episode of Red saying "I warned you not to go on your own" or something like that.
If only Sony released the 4th season on UHD BD that would make me a happier guy regarding The Blacklist. It's shot and post-produced to 4K (I even read somewhere the use of 6K cameras) so just an HDR pass and they're done. It must look terrific.
