What I enjoy about these lists is searching on Deezer for the many albums I've not heard before and streaming them through my Sonos, Peachtree music system. Fun!

if you only wish to vote for 1, 3, 8, 10 or 17 that`s OK. However I will ONLY accept your first list of nominations. So if you only nominate 5, then come back with another nomination for another 15, these later nominations will NOT be accepted.

Please! If you are going to nominate 20 albums please do it in your FIRST post. There is a reason for this, it is to stop anyone* voting more than once. Once someone votes they are registered as having voted and any further votes posted will not count even if your first post contained less than 20 nominations.

*nobody around here would attempt to vote more than once.........wouldn`t they? :shtiphat:

The only way The Beatles won't take this is if Sgt. Pepper, The White Album and Abbey Road all make the poll and split the Fab Four vote, allowing Manowar to sneak past for the win.

I took a look at my list in the top 100 thread from years ago, shuffled a lot of things around and came up with a current and reasonably accurate top 20, listed in artist alphabetical order for a change:

    Bee Gees – Odessa
Mark Burgess and the Sons of God – Zima Junction
    Belinda Carlisle – Runaway Horses
    Chameleons – Strange Times
    Elvis Costello – Imperial Bedroom
Dead Or Alive – Mad Bad And Dangerous To Know
    England – Garden Shed
Genesis – From Genesis To Revelation
    Genesis – Nursery Cryme
    Genesis – Foxtrot
    Robin Gibb – Robin’s Reign
Hambi and the Dance – Heartache
    Iron Butterfly – In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
    Love – Forever Changes
Moody Blues – To Our Children’s Children’s Children
Moody Blues – A Question of Balance
    Pulp – Different Class
Bruce Springsteen – Born To Run
Status Quo – Picturesque Matchstickable Messages from …
Strawbs – Bursting At The Seams

On a different day, I might have compiled a similar list with completely different titles!

Yeah, I went for more obvious "classics", but I think I own about 80-90% of your list on vinyl. Incredible stuff and right up my alley.

Oh snap! Reading through your list just reminded me that I need to pick that Erasmos Carlos LP up. I streamed it online earlier this year and was blown away by its awesomeness. So thanks for the reminder.
